Review: Arthur

Hello Hobson! Oh, I loved this movie. It had everything I love. It had comedy, and memorable quotes, and just the right storyline to not make it lame! For example:

"We don't have anything in common. You love horses. I don't trust them. Their shoes are permanent. Who makes that kind of a commitment to a shoe?"

Ah, jeez. Anyway, it's basically about this billionaire that has to marry a women of his mother's choice or lose the money. Of course, he doesn't love the women his mother picks out. In fact, he's falling for someone else.....but I'm not going to give it away.

I really liked the casting. I'd never seen Russell Brand in anything before. He was really good in this, though, and I'd definitely like to see him in something else. Everyone did a great job and I thought what they brought to their character's was just right.

If you're a fan of funny movies that aren't pointless (meaning they still have a solid storyline) I would recommend this movie. I don't know guys. I might have to buy this one.
Wanna see the trailer? I'm sure it can explain the plot better than I can.

Happy 100th Birthday to Lucille Ball

Now, I don't usually commemorate star's birthday's because there are just too many to keep track of. Today, however, is different. Today is the day that Lucille Ball would have been 100 years of age. So, I wanted to honor her with a post because I think she was funny and charismatic, yet beautiful and classy. Here's to you, Lucy.
