- I took four years of Spanish and I still can't speak Spanish. Now don't get me wrong, even with four years under my belt I don't expect to be able to speak perfect, fluent Spanish. But I cannot even hold rough conversations. Zero. Zilch. Nada. So I wasted the time that I was in Spanish Class when I could have taken something else that I would have enjoyed more.
- Being active in clubs was important, and I was one of those people that liked to try to do as much as possible even if it didn't always work out. But I found that both student council and Spanish club were a total waste of my time. While student council actually acomplished some things, they weren't very enjoyable. I felt like most of the clubs I was in consisted of sitting in a lot of meetings without ever getting anything accomplished.
- I so regret taking AP Biology. While I was unsure at the time of what I wanted to do, I should have known that I wouldn't end up in a science related field and just not bothered with AP Biology. On top of that, I didn't even pass the exam so its not like I at least walked away with college credit. It was a lot of work and a lot of embarrassment (poor grades are embarrassing!) and alas, all for not.
