Re-Review: The Hunger Games

See! I told you I would review this again! I promise it will be better this time. Before I do that, though, I have some news. It pertains to the same subject, so don't fear any off topic ranting.

So it turns out that there making a Hunger Games movie. This doesn't really surprise me, considering what a big franchise it's becoming. I really hope I'm not disappointed when it's released March 23rd, 2012. They could do a lot of really cool things with this movie, so I hope they don't louse it up. The part that I found interesting will probably gauge the interest of most Twilighters.

Jodelle Ferland is interested in the role of Katniss. For those of you that haven't memorized all the actors and actresses in the movie (I haven't either), Jodelle played Bree Tanner in Eclipse. I think she did a really good job in that film. My only concern is the difference in rolls. Bree was a powerful newborn. At the same time, she was also timid, almost shy. Katniss is strong, powerful, and can be pretty intense. I suppose that's what actresses do. It's there job to be able to change there mind sets and attitudes for different rolls. If she did end up playing Katniss, I think I would definitely have to see it. On the the review.

This book was amazing. I read it really fast the first AND second time I read. lt's just like, once you start it, it's ABSOLUTLEY IMPOSSIBLE to put down. I mean, the characters are great, the storyline is great. It's all good! I can only hope that someday I has da skillz to come up with an idea as awesome as the Hunger Games. I would recommend this to anyone really. Girls, boys, moms, dads, teachers...you get the picture. Actually, I think this book would be really good for a class to read.

If I had to cast the movie, here's some people I might pick. (please note that I hardly EVER pay attention to what the writer tells me a character looks like)
Katniss: Emma Watson, Jodelle Ferland, and maybe Kristen Stewart...
Peeta: Skandar Keynes
Rue: Jedelle Ferland, Georgie Henley
