Breaking Dawn Teaser Poster
Personally, I really like the title treatment. It's lighter, not as dark as the others. I think they trying to capture and convey a happier time in Bella's life. FYI, Facebook tells me the teaser trailer premieres live on the MTV movie awards on June 5th. I can't believe it comes out in November...can we wait that long, Twihards?
Freaky Sock Friday #11
So, summer's on it's way and everyone has probably dug their flip flops out of the back of the closet. Now, I don't know about you guys, but in my area, once we start wearing flip flops for the season, we don't go back until it's starts snowing. So, even if you wake up and it's only 40 degrees, you slip on your flippy floppies and head out the door. But, hark! There's a solution to this problem that shouldn't exist! (If I wake up, and it's 40 degrees, I'm not even gonna think about wearing flip flops. Nuh uh, I'm slidding my feet in Cons so my toes stay toasty! TMI? Sorry...) Here it is!
That's right, there socks with spaces between the big toe and the rest of the toes so you can wear them with socks! They come in a variety of lovely colors.

These are a few of my favorite things....
I loved stuffed animals, elephants (they happen to be my favorite animal) and RPattz of course. So, you can imagine how overwhelming this pic was for me when I saw it.
Review: Hush, Hush
IT WAS AWESOME!!!
But I bet you want all the nitty-gritty little details, don't you? Well okay...
I wasn't kidding, by the way. This book was totally and completely awesome. Not just regular awesome, either. I'm talking one-of-the-best-books-I've-ever-read awesome. Yeah, that's awesome. It was right up there with Twilight in my opinion. So I recommend it to anyone, really. Unless your name is Hollie Shepard and you hate and loathe all the books I love and adore. But, enough of my ranting.
Here's what the front flap has to say:
"A sacred oath.
A fallen angel.
A forbidden love
Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgement.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those who have fallen- and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life."

Whoa, intense. Anyway, this book is interesting in that your opinion of the characters and situations changes throughout the course of the book. Or does this happen with every book and I've just never noticed? Huh. For example, at the beginning of the book I thought Patch seemed like a creepy stalker guy. In fact, you might not want to read it if you are easily creeped out. But then, of course, you get used to him (and his name) and you've learned to love him by the end, which was great. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series, Crescendo, and when I did, I was disappointed. So, expect a review soon.
I actually really like the cover art for this, which is strange, because I usually don't like when they put people. But, they didn't show the guy's face, so maybe that's why. I also like the title treatment (I think that's what it's called. Maybe that's just for movies. Hmm...), how it's all pointy and metallic.
Well, my eyes continue to grow tired the more I type, so I must stop, because I'm having trouble seeing. I don't want to get up and trip and fall more than I do already. ~Peace, Love, and peanut butter cups

Freaky Sock Friday #10
Now, I know at least one of my subscribers will appreciate the awesomeness of these socks. Hopefully she knows who she is.
See, for those of you that have not seen the musical Wicked: 1) It's awesome 2) I'm sorry, but you will be unable to understand why I'm so excited about these socks! It's a great musical and I recommend you go see it if you ever get the chance. Anywho, the color scheme for Wicked is black and green. (See? http://www.wickedthemusical.com/) I think you could wear these socks if you aren't that into the whole Wicked thing. I would. They're totally cute and this site has a ton of socks like this that say things like 'nerd', 'bookworm', and 'cookies'. To buy this pair, though, click here.
A Freaky Note: As you have probably noticed, my busy schedule has been preventing me from blogging every Friday. Therefore, I will no longer be striving to do Freaky Socks every Friday. I'm sorry if anyone is disappointed, it's just how things are with my busy schedule.
On a happier note, summer's coming and things should start slowing down soon, so I should have more time to blog and more things to blog about. I'm excited, and I hope you are too. I will be posting a book review that I started, like, two weeks ago, tomorrow, hopefully. So make sure to check back. ~Peace, Love, and One Short Day

Katy Perry's Royal Wedding Nails
Look at these things! Only Katy Perry would do something like this. I personally think it's cute and fun. A little strange, maybe, but still.
Since this is more than likely the only thing I will post about the wedding, I think I'll throw in my two cents about Kate's dress right here.

I thought it was beautiful, and she looked really pretty in it. I also thought it was classy. I know the train was long, but I appreciated that it wasn't gaudy. Also, it was conservative, and didn't show too much. The fact that she had her hair down made it really unique, and the veil looked great with her 'do. All in all, I thought this dress was a win! Congrats to William and Kate!
