In my area of the grand ole US of A, we have reached temperatures of a whopping sixty degrees. Shorts have crawled from the depths of drawers and flip flops have made there way from the the borders of Narnia in the backs of closets. Someone, anyone, needs to look them in the eye and say "IT IS NOT YOUR TIME YET. GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM." I understand that spring has arrived, but that does not give anyone the right to frolic around school in booty shorts and a bandeau. Nobody wants to see that. Put it away. This is still the season for skinny jeans and close toed shoes. Wedged sandals? NOPE. Tank tops? NOPE. Adidas sandals and socks? THAT IS NEVER OKAY. So put them back in closet. They can wait another month when the high eighties roll around. Patience, grasshoplings.

A Letter to Winter
I hope you weren't expecting a poem because this is not going to be one.
Dear Winter,
Here's the thing, Winter. It's not like I haven't enjoyed having you around, because I have. I just think maybe it's time for you to go. I mean, it's been nice, but I miss the sun.
There's another thing. When you showed up last year, all sorts of nice summer tops went on sale for much cheap. I remember days of buying sleeveless button-ups for under five dollars. And guess what, Winter? I WANT TO WEAR THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. So, as much as I have enjoyed your visit, I think it's time for you to go back where you came from. Antarctica.
See you next year

The Gym
I thought about it today, and to me, it seems sort of ridiculous that there are people that pay money to use exercise equipment. Real money! You'd have to pay me to go to a gym. I could use that money on books or Cheetos.

My Great Idea
So here's my 'great' idea. At the next yard sale, I can hang up this old poster and let people throw darts at it for like 25 cents a dart. If you hit a nose, you get a prize. Boom. Genius.

May Death Never Stop You
My Chemical Romance is coming out with a greatest hits album which is exciting but mostly super sad. The end feels so definite now. But I shall continue to believe in hiatus! Here's the trailer for the album...
The end with the hearse gets me every time. It is limited edition so if you want to pre-order, you can do so here. Its $34.99 and you get
- 19 tracks
- 2 hours of music video footage
- a funeral brassard (arm band I believe)
- and a "Thank You For The Venom" t-shirt
